Lakers remain winless in loss to Nuggets.

For the 4th time in franchise history, the Lakers are starting the season 0–4 with Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets, falling to Denver 110–99 and being one of three remaining teams in the NBA without a win.

The Lakers will start 0–4 for the third time in the past nine seasons, with the previous two coming in the hardship years of 2014–15 and 2015–16.

Their struggles since the start of the season continued from behind the arc, shooting 8-for-30 (27%) total from three in their fourth straight loss.

"Well, I think we were shooting 20%, and today we shot 26%.” “So today we got better,” said Patrick Beverly.

ESPN’s stats and info reported that the Lakers are shooting 33-for-148 (22.3%) on threes this season. That 22.3% 3-point FG percentage is the worst over any 4-game span by any team within a season in NBA history (min. 125 3-point FGA).

With the Lakers' 0-4 start to the season, the time for panic is approaching for Lakers vice president of operations, Rob Pelinka, who has fans clamoring for a roster change.

During the 3rd quarter, Anthony Davis seemed to have tweaked his back on a rebound attempt, putting his hands on his knees immediately in discomfort during the initial timeout.

"He's fine. He's fine. “He was able to get through the game and give us a lot of production," coach Darvin Ham said.

For the first time this season, Davis was the Lakers' leading scorer, finishing with 22 points on 58% (11-for-19) shooting from the floor, adding 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks in 36 minutes.

LeBron was the Lakers' second leading scorer with 19 points on 8-for-21 (38%) shooting, finishing with 9 assists, 7 rebounds, and 8 total turnovers in 35 minutes.

“I wasn’t aggressive enough on a lot of my turnovers,” said LeBron.

The Lakers' next game remains on the road this Friday against the 3–2 Minnesota Timberwolves at 5:00 PM on Spectrum SportsNet.
