Dodgers first to get 100 wins on the season.
After their 7–2 win over the San Francisco Giants, the Dodgers have reached triple digits in wins in consecutive seasons for the second time in their franchise’s history, with the first time coming back in the 1941–1942 season when they were in Brooklyn.
“It’s been a fun team to be a part of.” Justin Turner said, after speaking about being the first team to 100 wins this season.
This is the 10th time in the Dodgers' history to reach triple digits in wins, being the first team to 100 wins this season with a record of 100–44 (.694).
“Every team goes through adversities, but to have a consistent level of play, to win 100 games at this point, it’s quite the accomplishment,” said Dave Roberts.
The Dodgers are 49–18 at home this season, with a 51–26 record on the road, winning 8 of their last 10 games.
To beat the 106 wins they won last season, the Dodgers need to win 7 of their last 18 games of the season.
